Well hello! First post here. I just read an article in the ny times about Fashion Bloggers TAKING OVER THE WORLD (not so much...but you get the jist!) Well, if you were wondering, this is not one of those blogs...I just want to put everything into one place, make my judgement calls, and hopefully give some input in to the realm of reasonable (let's face it, there's still a recession people) shopping.
1.)Thrifting is good. It's great.
2.)D.I.Y. - learning how to do some hand sewing, or some creative alterations will take you F A R
3.)Still pull inspiration from your fashion icons/the runway
4.)Like the name of this blog says: user discretion advised; just because you saw mary-kate wearing it does not mean you can too! There are no limits to fashion, but an important aspect for everyone is to know what works and what doesn't for themselves.
